INTRODUCTION
Hi. I'm Tristan Howard. I'm a geographer/author, and this site features my creative projects and research efforts. Click on the blue hyperlinked headings below to learn more. I work as a research specialist and cartographer, but my free time is focused on exploration, science education/entertainment, and natural history filmmaking and photography. I have a BA and MS in Geography along with a certificate in geographic information systems (GIS). I have also been shooting wildlife videos for over 20 years and started on the remote ranchlands where I grew up at the edge of a volcano.

I published an epic science-fiction adventure novel in 2022. I also wrote published wildlife policy research and newspaper articles in 2012-2013, and I have ideas for more fiction and non-fiction publishing.
